The ASTROPE monument is a monument celebrating wildlife in nature and flight.
The bronze center piece; Birds in Flight is supported on both sides by the two pillars. Each pillar is unique in its height and the bare rock; that represents the ruggedness of the mountains.
The open space of the Birds in Flight bronze between the two pillars creates a feeling of airy lightness; as if the viewer is flying along side the birds.
The font chosen is tall and narrow; complimenting the shape of the pillars.
Birds, wild life and the enjoyment of being in nature are important to the ATROPE family and they were able to tell their story and add their personalization.
