Back to Nature Family Monument

In honor of 3 siblings, the McCleary monument is significant in many ways. To embrace the “back to nature” prompt, we went with boulders and a natural rock look. The family had a rustic outdoors lifestyle and this theme fit perfectly. The two oldest children were together when they passed so, it made sense that each of their pieces were made from the same stone split in half. Their younger sister’s stone rests in the middle drawing a line of symmetry. The outdoor theme is carried further through the small boulder vases. We intentionally chose to include rock pitching in the design and on the base to complement the natural pitting and texture of the rock.
