Crew Memorial

When we first met with Nancy’s daughter, one of the first things she talked about was how much her mother loved nature and cardinals, specifically their color. It was very important to her than if we were going to have a cardinal on the stone, it had to be in color. An engraving or an etching wouldn’t be good enough here. She had seen some colored etchings online, but when we showed her some of our previous mosaic glass work, she fell in love with it. We had a black mist granite piece in our showroom with a unique shape that she also liked, and when we told her we could combine the mosaic work with that piece, she couldn’t have been more pleased.

Looking at the final product, you have one of the most eye-catching pieces in that cemetery. The unique shape and the vibrant color really set it apart.
