Fisher

Amanda Fisher was a huge environmentalist, interconnected to nature, and a stargazer. Her sign was the “archer”, Sagittarius. She never knew a stranger and was always concerned about other people more than herself. We combined a natural rock (like the many natural rock outcroppings in this area) with the stark black natural night sky. On the rock is an intentionally small bronze cross with her name and dates, “not showy”. In the sky, with gold leaf stars, is her constellation. The matching base has a sentiment worth more than her name. Across the side and top is a message from her son. The hole… is a passageway from here on earth, beyond the stars to heaven above.
