Music was Joshua’s life. As a music teacher, choir director and coach, he set to work daily to impact the lives of his students, family and friends. The music staff and notes are from “An Irish Blessing”. In essence, the prayer is telling us not to worry, because God “has our back” and is providing us with a path that will lead us through life, with as few challenges as possible. In the Irish Blessing, the words: May the road rise up to meet you” gave the inspiration to create the “road rising up on the top left”. This road was paved with piano keys, since this was his favorite of many instruments he would play.
