Hobson Petrified Stump

Categories: ,

Dr. Hobson was a veterinarian. But his family fondly remembered him for his rather extensive collection of petrified wood. Wanting to use some of this material for his stone, we sure. After cutting a joint on to the bottom and shaving a face on the front of the stump to have a flat surface and fit within the size limitations of the cemetery. From there we designed a pair of bronze plaques to attach to the stone that fit the shape of the space as well as have a custom tree bark edge. We used two bronze to separate the name from the information.
