Kai Locklear

Kai’s mother wanted his headstone to represent his love of the ocean and feature photographic “memories” from his large family and friend base. Stylized waves are sculpted into the top of the tablet and smaller waves flow across the top edge of the base. A circular collage with photographs of family and friends is cast in metal and inlaid into the stone. Stippled texture accents the portrait collage.
