Joshua Kirkpatrick died unexpectedly while mowing the lawn. A congenital heart defect finally caught up to him in his 30’s and his family needed to find healing and closure through the stone they selected.

The stone combined numerous elements into one beautiful scene. A huge St. Louis Cardinals fan, it was important that we have two cardinals representing him and his wife. The bronze cardinals were commissioned just for this project.

He left behind two small children and they wanted somewhere to place toys for dad. The stainless box is illuminated at night through solar power and is perfect for displaying his children’s love.

The rustic cross is suspended in the middle of the two Impala Black tablets. The gap between the cross and the left tablet represents the separation his family feels that will ultimately be made up by Christ.

The monument sits on private property and overlooks a private lake.
