Mrs. McGinley was a great fan of the “Roaring Twenties” and the Art Deco architecture of that time period. She led a successful life and was described by her husband as a great achiever. The gothic top was used to represent the great heights of achievement she had reached with her family, faith and work. The side consoles, totalling four, were placed to represent not only the architecture of the period but each individual of the family. The consoles protrude forward off the face of the stone as family was most important to her and she wanted it to stand out before anything else. The tablet was constructed in one piece to show the unity the family still holds today even in her passing.
