Mounce

The relationship between this mother and her daughter was not always sunshine. Some days it was stormy but, the two always found a way to make it right again. This monument beautifully juxtaposes those two circumstances. The sunflower on the front represents the happy and joyful memories that her daughter shared with her. A poem on the back describes her daughter’s feelings toward her mom. The engraved letters are coated with a sealant so, they only appear when the stone is wet. This serves as a reminder for her daughter that even on rainy days, there’s still good to be found.
