Mr. and Ms. Tiller both came in distraught over the loss of their son, Caleb. They wanted a meaningful memorial but had to also incorporate Caleb’s grandfather with the memorial as he was laid to rest next to him. Both Alvin and Caleb lost their lives to soon in this world. The broken pillar in the center symbolizes their lives being cut short. The families choice of the verse resonates with remember the good.
