Mr. Ryan was a beloved member of a neighboring community. He was involved in a tragic accident leaving his family and many friends searching for a special way to memorialize him. When the Ryan family came to us, they had a memorial on the lot that they wanted to match in color, size, and shape. This left them with limited options. They had hoped for a cowboy-themed design because their brother was always drawn to the West; the beautiful sunsets, the mountains, and the horses! Their ideas entailed some very detailed custom artwork. In order to stay within their budget, we decided to use a silhouette that allowed our creative director to produce the scene they imagined without having to draw all of the detail.
We created the design to have depth in the scene. Adding the cactus in the foreground, and the mountains in the background, giving the cowboy and landscape a prominent feature of the design.
The family couldn’t have been more pleased with the final stone.
