This memorial was designed in collaboration with the Sharp family. Our instructions were to create an elegant, quiet, understated, and distinctive monument to complement the setting and reflect their Jewish faith and family philosophy. This one-piece monolith, measuring 96” x 24” x 60” (tapering to 18” at the top) weighs approximately 17, 500 lbs. As the chairman and founder of the Four Seasons Hotel chain, Mr. Isadore Sharp knows elegance. Mrs. Rosalie Sharp, an accomplished artist in her own right, knows design well and suggested solid bronze letters for the family name. Currently, their son Christopher is the only person buried in the plot, and his grave is marked with a pillow (slant) marker. The family was thrilled with the design and intentional simplicity and received many compliments at the unveiling of the memorial.
