Slovin Lighthouse

Categories: ,

A lover of lighthouses, Brian Slovin wanted his final resting place to be near one. His wife asked if we could create one for their private property that would hold his cremains. This cremation memorial was constructed to look like one of his favorite lighthouses they visited in South Africa. However, since it was to sit not far off their porch, it was important to her that you be able to see it at night and it light up. This would allow her to sit with him in the evenings as they normally would. After some research, we were able to create a solar-powered light that would allow the panel to sit about 20′ away from the sculpture and have the wire go up the shaft of the lighthouse from through the base. This creates a soft glow that allows Mrs. Slovin to know that he is still there.
